Enlightenment

“an abrupt shift in perspective…”

A contemporary ballet in four movements, “Enlightenment” is a simplistically staged dance work that explores concepts of subtle shifts in perspective and thoughtfulness. The movement reflects a sudden spiritual enhancement that triggers an abrupt shift in viewpoint. Musically driven and anticlimactic, classical ballet vocabulary is juxtaposed with gestural, contemporary movement.
