Lay

“a contemporary pas de deux inspired by the ideas of love, loss and hope…”

"Lay" is a pas de deux inspired by the ideas of love, loss and hope. In this contemporary ballet duet, the dancer is mourning the loss of her loved one, as she imagines her love is still there with her. The movement demonstrates the sad and intense array of emotions experienced in the grieving process.
